If you require identification of a bird, please join and post to facebook group Women Birders Australia.  There are many experienced and knowledgable women birders who will be happy to assist. 

The group welcomes all posts about wild birds in Australia. We have an Identification Challenge every day, with special themes: Wader Wednesday and Seabird Sunday. Challenges are posted around 1-2pm and the solution is posted around 8-9pm same day. ID Challenges are given levels: Kindy, L Plate, P Plate & Advanced, to help all members learn without intimidation or fear of mockery. Members are encouraged to guess and give their reasons.

Women Birders Australia is a very friendly space that encourages women of all levels of experience and knowledge to participate.

We encourage you to use eBird.org or Birdata to record your bird observations.
